Hair Ties for Julia

Not long ago my sister, Elizabeth, asked if there was a meaning behind the bracelet that she sees me and other girls wearing.  It took me a second to realize she was referring to my hair tie.

Someone finally realized that girls actually wear hair ties on their wrists more than in their hair…so why not make them pretty? Genius.  Elastic hair ties are the new trend and I have to say- I Love It.  They come in all colors, are more comfortable than traditional hair bands (which are always just tight enough to squeeze your wrist and make you feel a little chubby or like your circulation is in jeopardy), and I can make them!  Now, not only are they trendy, pretty and affordable, but they actually serve a greater cause when purchased via Sew & Water!

When I realized how fun and simple they were to make I decided selling them seemed a little silly….unless it is for a good cause.  Thus Hair Ties for Julia was born!

Julia Clark serves as a full time missionary for WEC International based here in the US. She spends most of her year serving other missionaries at the home base in SC, while also leading team mission trips to places such as New Guinea, Africa, and Thailand. Julia works with Rainbows of Hope to minister to children in crisis and poverty all over the world.

All profits from the hair ties at Sew & Water will go to support the work of Julia Clark.

So buy as gifts, stuff some stockings, or simply ensure you have one for every outfit and get your order in here!
