Bunting is not just for special occasions.
temporary valentine banner It’s true; it actually makes the day-to-day feel special and a little like you’re celebrating life just by stringing it throughout your home. Or at least that’s how it makes me feel. On top of looking creatively festive & warm it’s a great scrap buster and fun & easy to sew! I think the worst part is cutting the triangles but if you do it strategically it’s really not all that bad {says the girl who hates to cut}.
loving our new pillow I cut out a template from a popsicle box and traced my triangles on the wrong side of the fabric with a pencil, cut them out and lined them up. Set your machine on the longest stitch (a basting stitch will do) and just sew a straight line. Wha-la- Bunting!
