Smash & Grab

Picturewhat's left of our car window
Last night I went with my sister-in-law to grab ice cream.  Two scoops at Baskin Robbins rang up to about $6 and cost us around $800.

In the 10 minutes  it took to order our treats, someone smashed the window of our car and grabbed my chicken purse & laptop bag {without the laptop Praise God!}.

Now, I know policemen constantly see and hear some crazy stuff but the officers still gave a pretty funny look when I added "chicken purse" to the report!  The chicken purse has brought so many jokes, laughter and looks I had to share with our customers why you won't be seeing it again {and ask if you do to please call the police}.

We're thankful no one was hurt and to learn a good lesson in trust and safety {and car alarms}.  We sincerely hope, wherever it is, that someone is enjoying the chicken purse and that in time, they too will learn their own lesson.

Feel free to leave your condolences for the chicken purse in the comments section. ;)

Hi John- it was the Basking Robbins on 521 in Indian Land, in front of the new Publix. The sun had just set and the parking lot's in plain view...it shocked me that someone was that brave {or stupid}. Stay safe!

Yikes, I was hoping it wasnt that one, to be that brazen in plain sight, its not like you can run right into bushes and hide, its all open roads and fields,,,,
